Wednesday

Arriving in Reims under your own steam, you will be welcomed to the hotel with a glass of Champagne by the Tour Director. The hotel is located in the centre of Reims and has secure parking for your car. It also benefits from being close to all the bars & restaurants in the pedestrian precinct and is nearby the medieval Cathedral. 

You can check into your bedroom from 15.30 and relax after your journey.

Our welcome dinner takes place this evening in the hotel where you will have the opportunity to meet all your fellow tour participants. 

Thursday

After breakfast we head south via the Cote des Blanc to the beautiful town of Epernay to visit the outstanding Champagne Mercier cellars and enjoy a visit, tour and Champagne tasting.

Following the visit to the cellars you have the option of taking lunch at the beautiful 5 Star Royal Champagne Hotel located in the village of Bellevue amongst the Champagne vineyards. 

In the afternoon we take a scenic route back through the vineyards via the Montagne de Reims returning to our hotel. 

You have the option  of taking dinner this evening in a selected traditional French Brasserie in Reims, or making your own dinner arrangements. 

Friday 

Today starts in the city of Reims with a visit, tour and tasting at the Champagne Taittinger  cellars, which are only a short drive from our hotel. Following the visit  we head out to the historic Reims/Gueux Grand Prix circuit for a visit to the old grandstands, paddocks and pit buildings, plus the opportunity to drive/retrace the old GP circuit. 

An optional lunch can be taken at Restaurant Le Bistrot du Circuit, located at Gueux, close to the circuit . Following lunch we take a scenic route through the vineyards before heading back to our hotel in Reims. 

You are free to make your own dinner arrangements this evening.

Saturday

Today is a totally free day for you to do as you please and to travel through the beautiful Champagne region at your own pace. Perhaps visit another Champagne house, some vineyards, or the medieval cathedral where the French kings were crowned.

Sunday

Today sees the running of the Historic Festival at the former Reims/Gueux F1 circuit, where you can enjoy an optional lunch. Full access to the paddock, trade village and all the participating cars is included.

This evening sees our final evening farewell dinner which takes place in a lovely local restaurant.

Monday 

After enjoying breakfast, it’s time to say farewell to your fellow tour companions and set out on the journey home.
