This 3 night - 4 day driving tour starts in Palermo, the capital of Sicily and the traditional start location of the historic Targo Florio.
The Targa Florio was an open road endurance automobile race held in the mountains of Sicily near the island's capital of Palermo. Founded in 1906, it was the oldest sports car racing event and part of the World Sportscar Championship between 1955 and 1973.
The track length in the race's last decades was limited to the 72 kilometres (45 miles) of the Circuito Piccolo delle Madonie, which was lapped 11 times.
Participants in the Targa Florio Retour will use hire cars for the duration of the event. However if you wish to travel from the UK or Europe in your own car this is also perfectly acceptable. The event is non competitive
and will follow the route of the original Targa Florio on the piccolo, medio and grande circuits.
